Give Yourself To Love

It's day 16 of NaBloPoMo and this is the first day I've struggled to find something to write. Between my writing here, my writing at VillageQ and the writing I have done for my book, I have easily written a kabillion words in the month of November. You don't believe me? Okay, maybe I have exaggerated a tiny bit but I've still written a lot of words.

So, today, I am taking a little break from stringing words together and, instead, you can just listen to one of my practice sessions. This was the song I sang at my wedding and, yes, it is cheesy so don't judge.

See how desperate I am to avoid writing? I'm actually baring my soul and vocal chords for you so that I can have a little break.

I recorded this a couple of days before the wedding when I had a horrible cold. It was recorded using Photo Booth because I don't have a recording studio in my home. At least Momo the Cat didn't provide guest vocals.

At the actual ceremony, I sang it with a friend and in a higher key.
