Sunset on the South

We went to the south of Portugal for a week. It's hot and beachy and duney and gorgeous. We stayed in a white and blue house with a terra cotta tile roof - like we were guests in some sort of Portuguese post card. There is not much to do but go to the beach which is what we did every single day. It turns out that six days is about my limit for lying on the beach doing nothing but sunning myself and having the occasional beer or cocktail. We ended up leaving a day early and heading back to the city.

We have been in Lisbon for the past couple of days but our adventure continues tomorrow when we head to the north of Portugal.

Before that, I thought I'd share some pictures from our time in the south. These were taken our last night...as the sun was setting.
