Chocolate Covered Peeps

I have a confession to make - I eat maybe five peeps each Easter season and then I am good for another year. I have already surpassed that limit and I'm starting to think that "Peep Week 2009" just might kill me. I am the Morgan Spurlock of peeps and I won't even get to go to Sundance. Such is the life of a D-list blogger. I am very excited about today's video though. About a week ago, I stumbled into Candyland with some co-workers and found that they were selling chocolate covered peeps. Never had I seen such things! So, my trusty sidekick, Kristin, and I went back this week to buy some of the chocolate chicks and then conducted our own taste test. Another co-worker, Cathy, was with us in the room (she is the other voice you hear off-camera) but she did not want to appear in the video. I know the video is long but I just couldn't cut any more. Also, I want to warn you that this was unscripted and neither of us had prepared questions to ask each other which I'm guessing will be pretty obvious by the end. On a technical note, the sound is horrible in the beginning because they had a giant nut metal nut roaster going the entire time we were in the store. It was loud and it dominates the sound on the video. That portion will be brief so bear with it...

P.S. It is strange to watch people eating on camera. There is something primal about it and it serves as a reminder that we are animals.
