Beautiful

We left Lisbon yesterday and stopped at Óbidos on our way north. Óbidos is a beautiful place with colorful houses, a sea of red-tiled roofs and an amazing stone wall that surrounds it all. Miguel and Luisa walked the wall all the way around the city. I couldn't go with Miguel (no railing and sheer drops once again) but I did walk a big section with Zeca who was happy to hold my hand and walk without bouncing. Zeca and I then returned to street level to admire the beautiful flowers throughout the town. Once we were reunited with Luisa and Miguel, we took a horse and carriage ride around the outside of the city. Zeca had been eyeing those carriages all day and she was thrilled to have the chance to take a ride. This whole vacation thing is a pretty nice gig.
